University President Inspects the University Hospital Project to Review Progress Rates
The University President, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, inspected the university hospital project in Basrah Province.
The University President stated that the visit aims to review the achieved progress rates, the specific timelines for execution, and to listen to the engineering team responsible for the construction of the hospital to overcome obstacles facing the completion of the project.
He added that the specialized university hospital will witness an expansion that includes the addition of new operating rooms and consultative clinics specializing in reconstructive surgery. The hospital will also be equipped with the latest medical devices adhering to robust global standards.
In turn, the Dean of the College, Dr. Nawfal Ali Al-Mubarak, indicated that the specialized university hospital project will represent a qualitative shift in the provision of health services to the people of Basrah and the southern provinces.
