A Scientific Study at Basrah University Explores Enhancing Data Integration in Accounting Information Systems

A scientific study at the University of Basrah, conducted by Dr. Waleed Al-Hashemi from the Al-Zahraa College of Medicine, explored enhancing data integration in computerized accounting information systems using supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms for SEM-PLS analysis.

The study, published in the Informatica journal indexed in Scopus, involved the application of machine learning algorithms to improve the accuracy and consistency of accounting data using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) method. The research included data from 163 construction companies in China that utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology.
