University of Basrah Organizes a Symposium on the Negative Effects of Wars on Children
The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah organized a symposium entitled "The Negative Effects of Wars on the Child's Psyche and How to Treat it".
The symposium aimed to help children understand themselves better, enhance their self-confidence, and dispel fears and disorders to improve their cognitive functions.
The symposium, presented by lecturer Sawsan Muhammad, included the topic of wars and the long-term psychological and physical effects they cause on children and adults, in addition to poverty, malnutrition, disability, economic deterioration, and psychological and organic diseases.
