A Patent for the Designing of a System for the Removal of Aflatoxin

Two researchers from the University of Basra/ College of Agriculture /Department of Foods Science, Amal Kadhum Ghadhban, Qithar Rasheed Majeed and Falih Mahdi Saleh, obtained a patent from the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, for a research about designing a system for the removal of aflatoxin (B1), a mycotoxin compound, from contaminated wheat by using the locally isolated bacteria Lactobacillus plantarum.
