A seminar at the University of Basrah on the crime of riot

The Faculty of Law and Politics at the University of Basrah held a seminar on the crime of riot. The researcher Ali Hussein Abdulsaheb explained that  riot is a social behavior aims at breaching security and it is a deliberate violation of  norms and traditions prevailing in any country and reflects a fateful culture and behavior as well as a reflection of the social reality.

This research is important since it focuses on the study of violence and riot, since riot becomes a prominent feature of this time and age. There is always media coverage of such acts in different countries and its resulting serious damage to individuals, society, and government, whether in security, political, economic or social terms
