University of basrah holds training workshop about drugs and treatment method

Educational Counseling center and Psychological Care at university of basrah organized a training workshop about drugs within a project of the building the foundations of the society democracy among young people in cooperation with the Nissan Institute.

a workshop included a lecture delivered by Director of the Counseling Center Dr. Sana Abdel-Zahra Al-Jamaan in title the drugs and methods of treatment, The lecture dealt with the primary prevention of drugs and the reasons that lead to addiction as well as its effects on the individual and society addition to the role of the indicative groups to awareness against drugs.

 The lecture also referred to the method of treatment of both the medicine as a first step and psychological as a second step.
