University of Basrah discusses the idea of the emergence of the state with the reference to the State of the Prophet (PBUH) in the Al mideniha as a model

A seminar in basrah center and Arab gulf studies at university of basrah discussed idea of the emergence of the state with the reference to the State of the Prophet (PBUH) in Al mideniha.

A researcher Dr. Mohsen Al - Hajjaj said that the origin of the emergence of states due to old political theories such as theocratic theory (religious) which think that the state is the creation of God and God who is choose the rulers, so The theory of social contract invented by the French philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau where he thinks that the people have met and decided to establish a political community during their contract with a public body representing the will of the people.

The researcher recommended the adoption of the Islamic model in building the state following the practical steps taken by the Prophet (PBUG) in his administration of Medina, with the focus on the peaceful coexistence between the components of one society.
