University of basrah discusses the legal system for the control of management of petroleum licensing contracts in Iraq

A seminar at faculty of law at university of basrah discussed the legal system for the control of management of petroleum licensing contracts in Iraq (A comparative study).

A researcher Haidar Taha Yassin said that the purpose of the research in topic of the control of management of petroleum licensing contracts is due to subjective and objective reasons, the objective reasons due to the lack of the Iraqi and Arab legal library to Specialized research in the control of management on the petroleum licensing contracts, the subjective reasons included in knowing the adequacy of legal rules which apply by the management in practices its right to control on this contracts and the extent those rules and it's responsiveness to developments in social and economic conditions, so the extent absorption those rules to time of which applied it and the extent  Management capacity to practices control on over firms with financial, technological and administrative capabilities, and which represent the interests of other States, so therefore the extent of the need to the legal system modify to control on petroleum licensing contracts by deletion, modification or addition compared to the oil countries that have taken advanced steps in this field.
