University of basrah department of health hold a workshop about Tuberculosis disease

Faculty of agriculture at university of basrah organized a workshop in cooperation with the Basra Health department / Public Health section about Tuberculosis disease and how to control it.

a workshop included a lecture given by the academic at the Department of Animal Production at the faculty Dr. Qutaiba Jassem Ghani, in which he addressed the main causes of the disease and the ways of transmission from animal to human as well as its impact on livestock and what is caused by large economic losses, a workshop included lecture given by a specialist in the field of internal medicine from the Center of Chest and Respiratory Diseases Dr. Zuhair Abdul Karim which he referred  to the symptoms of the disease and its seriousness on the human and details of its spread and methods of prevention as well as methods of diagnosis and treatment and the possibility of disposal.

While Dr. Hider Mahmoud a specialist in community medicine from  the Center for Chest and Respiratory Diseases ,talked about the history of the disease, the mechanism of follow-up of the injured and treatment methods, While Dr. Raafat Raed from international organization Migration center highlighted on the most important services that the Organization for Migration can offer to the injured.
