An academic at university of basrah participates in the Second international Conference of Engineering Sciences at university of Karbala

The academic at Faculty of Engineering, university of basrah Dr, Saleh Issa Khasaf participated in a research with Post Graduate Student naba Ahmed in the Second International Conference of Engineering Sciences at university of Karbala.

Participation included provide research titled (A laboratory study to protect and sustain bridges using steering panels).

Khasaf said that the research discussed execution laboratory experiments of material models of Cylindrical bridges abutments to know the location drifting around abutments, then were provides the abutments with Steering Boards to protect it from erosion. Where found that the Steering plates when the open angle more influential than when the Angle Closure.
