A seminar faculty of Agriculture at university of basrah discussed the relationship between the productive qualities of female lambs and it mothers genetic structure and some of its physiological characteristics.

the researcher Azhar Abdul Abbas Jafar said that there is a close relationship between the genetic and productive characteristics of sheep and other agricultural animals, he pointing out that the development of modern genetic techniques such as PCR, RFLP and others have made clear and tangible progress in the field of genetic improvement of animals, where genetic techniques were based on records and manipulations, it is now possible to identify animals with high production efficiency by studying the structure of its genetic genes and its relationship to the characteristics of productive animals.
