University of Basrah organizes a workshop about Identification of problems associated with polymerase chain interaction technology

Branch microbiology and parasites, faculty of Veterinary Medicine at university of Basrah organized a workshop titled (Identification of problems associated with polymerase chain interaction technology and methods of disposal) for two days.

In the first day of the workshop, Dr. Hazem Taleb Thwaini presented two lecture the first one was about getting rid of the problems associated with the process of DNA extraction, while the second identified the problems associated with the stage of amplification of DNA.

in the second day of the workshop Dr. Firas Taha Mansour presented two lecture, the first one included getting rid of problems associated with the process of electrical transfer of DNA and the second was entitled Interpretation of the results of polymerase chain reaction and identify all possible problems and ways to get rid of it.

The academic at faculty, Dr. Firas Taha Mansour said that the workshop differed from its predecessor in the expansion of the practical side where large numbers of samples were examined in the PCR device as well as in the electrical relay.
