University of Basrah organizes an awareness meeting on the upcoming elections

Basrah Studies Center and Arabian Gulf at university of Basrah in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Germany organized an awareness meeting on the upcoming Iraqi elections in the presence of representatives from the General office of Basrah Elections.

about the meeting, Dr. Jawad Kazem Hattab said that the importance of the meeting is explaining what is elections in Iraq and its role in the consolidation of the democratic system to establish justice between the governor and governed according to the optimal election and appointing the elected officials to manage Iraq in order to achieve the conditions of political stability and economic welfare away from cases of racial, sectarian, Gender, national or even skin color.

The meeting included showed of the documentary film about Iraqi elections, lecture about Human Resource Development.
