University of Basrah discusses Inflammation of the arteries

A seminar at faculty of Pharmacy, university of Basrah discussed (The inflammation of the arteries  known as Takayasu).

The researcher Maysaa Benaye said that That inflammation of the arteries is a rare case of absence of the pulse of the extremities due to narrowing and blockage of the arteries that branch from the aorta due to inflammation of these arteries, which is caused in some studies to the immune attack by some white blood cells against blood vessels, That the prevalence rate is large in the countries of Asia and affects women more than men and the disease is controlled by the use of steroids and other chemical treatments.
