A researcher from Basrah University Participates in Human Sciences conference in Baghdad University

A researcher at Basrah and Arabic Gulf Studies Center in Basrah University participated in a conference organized by Baghdad University, College of Arts, Philosophy Department titled as "Human Sciences and the Religious Subject" under the banner of- By philosophy and human sciences, we raise with religious awareness.

The participation included a research titled as "Minority religious in Iraq". through which the researcher pointed out that the main aim of his research was to clarify the relationship between philosophy fields and religion as well as to identify the impact of religion on the psychological and social fields and to show language influence on the understanding of religious texts and the way it connects to the minority religions in Iraq such as Christianity, Yazidism, Sabean Mandaean and the rest of Iraqi Jews also Baha'i religion that came to the existent lately, And the impact of these minorities on social life and how it does coexistence with the Muslim majority.

Eventually, the researcher emphasized the importance of religious tolerance, a common national identity agreement and the respect for minority religious rights to support social peace.
