University of Basrah holds a training course for fixation of various bone fractures

The University of Basrah, College of Medicine, in cooperation with the International Organization of Orthopedic Surgery AO Trauma, organized a training course for fixation of the various bone fractures. The course contains theoretical lectures, seminars, and workshops with real surgical instruments in addition to artificial bone prototypes. The aim of the course was to lead physicians for the right traditional adopted methods of dealing with bone injuries. Participants recommended that efforts should be continued in order to organize an advanced stage of this activity.
