Ministry of Higher Education honors the President of Basrah University

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research honored the President of Basrah University Dr. Thamer Ahmed Hamdan on the anniversary of Iraqi Knowledge Day.

The Director of Public Affairs and Media Department, Dr. Ali Al-Kinanee, mentioned that the ministry honored the university president with the Knowledge medal and a certificate of appreciation during the celebration of Iraqi Knowledge Day due to the ministry supporting for the researchers and scientists in Iraqi universities.

He Illustrating that the ministry believes that the progressing of knowledge in our universities was a result of its scientists' research and its approaches evolution, and this annual celebration considered as a motivation for researchers and scientists and to honor the notable ones according to certain standers and scientific terms.
