A scientific lecture at the University of Basrah discusses nanomaterials

The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra held a scientific lecture on (nanomaterials and methods of preparation and devices used to measure them)

The lecture Zeinab Taha discussed Nanomaterials that perform differently from materials which are in the normal state (more than 100nm). This is due to the surface area and the quantum effects, as well as, the fact that most nanomaterials depend on the size and the huge surface area of nanomaterials, regarding to its size because of the huge size of surface atomic numbers compared to the internal atomic numbers, which make them hold a good properties.

The lecture included several methods for the synthesis of nanomaterials, the most important of which is the wet method using synthesize nanomaterials. The most important devices used to measure the dimensions of nanomaterials are electron microscope, scanner, and the electron microscope, in addition to Eds-sem and mapping-Eds.
