University of Basrah discusses the determination and analysis of radioactive nuclei in blood samples

The College of Science at Basrah University holds a seminar for postgraduate students (master studies) entitled "Determination and Analysis of Radioactive Nuclei in Blood Samples by using SAM 940TM Detector".
Alaa Haider khalaf, a postgraduate student, expressed the possibility of a relationship between the concentration of radioactive nuclei and leukemia.

He explained that it is expected to find a direct or indirect relationship between the rates of infection and the amount of exposure to the radiation. Therefore, he expected to find different types of radionuclides in blood cancer samples, especially uranium and various types of it through the results obtained, which will be explained within the final results when discussing the research and to locating contaminated locations in Basrah province in order to avoid serious diseases including cancer.
