University of Basrah organizes a course on accounting and auditing

Continuing Educational Center at the University of Basrah organized a training course on accounting and auditing with the participation of a number of university employees.

The course aims at the development abilities of the staff of the accounting field and auditing, as well as, refining their skills, how to register entries and prepare financial statements and identifying the types of auditing and how to prepare the audited report.

The course included the acknowledgment of the concepts of the relationship between accounting and other sciences, how to prepare the financial statements, the difference between accounting and auditing, the sorting the components of the audited report as well as accounting principles and loans.

The course showed how important it is to move forward with the staff development of Basrah University which is working in the financial accounts departments, supplying within the latest scientific developments in their of specialization field in order to improve the quality of their job performance.
