Hamdan: Iraqi theater returns to its golden age with (The 8 Witnesses from my country) play

Under the sponsorships of the President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Thamer Ahmed Hamdan. The Modern Theater Group and in cooperation with the Department of Public Relations and Information at the University of Basrah presented the play of (the 8 witnesses from my country).

Hamdan mentioned that the presentation of this model of the significant theater is motivating the international aspect of the students and strengthens their loyalty and belonging to the native country, indicating that this play represents the restoration of the glory of the Iraqi theater authentic.

On the other hand, Dr. Karim Mubarak, Director of the Modern Theater Group, mentioned that the play at the University of Basrah is a necessity for presenting special performances, especially to the students and the theater experts. This presentation is a part of the important documentary plays that reflect the message of the human and educational theater, which embodies the national symbols that sacrificed for Iraq. And to be proud of them.

It is noteworthy that the play of (the 8 witnesses from my country) was presented by the elite of the Iraqi theater stars and written and directed by Majid Darnedsh.
