University of Basrah Discusses Geological Study to detect the Geological Structures and Ancient River Valleys buried under the Sediment

The Faculty of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled “Geological Study to detect the Geological Structures and Ancient River Valleys buried under the Sediment ".

The researcher Zeinab Adel Issa, illustrate that the purpose of the seminar was to detect the geological structures and ancient archaeological aspects that have to do with those ancient river valleys. And re-mapping the ancient geography of the North Gulf region after analyzing a series of high-resolution spatial pictures and comparing them with the results of the field study of these sites and using geophysical syllables of the field.
