University of Basrah Discusses the Crude Oil Role in Iraqi Economy

A seminar was held at the College of Education for Girls at the University of Basrah (the Crude Oil Role in Iraqi Economy).

The researcher, Dr. Ali Hussein Khamis, mentioned that the goal of the seminar is to show the role of Iraqi crude oil in general and Basra oil specifically to support the Iraqi economy because it is a single sector economy depends on oil production only.

The researcher recommended the need to develop the industrial, agricultural and service sectors.
