Seminar at the University of Basrah entitled Biological control and Pesticide Alternatives

The Faculty of Science at the University of Basrah organized a seminar entitled "Biological control and Pesticide Alternatives".

Assist Prof. Dr. Nasir Abd-Ali Al-Mansor, explained that the seminar included the correct scientific methods in using pesticides and replace them with species living creatures such as some types of insects as an auto and positive pesticide alternatives. The seminar ended with recommendations for reducing the use of toxic pesticides, as well as the ongoing examination of farms and markets, in addition, to the application of the national integrated management programs.
