The University of Basrah organizes Symposium about Plant Treatments for Industrial Wastewater using Constructed Wetlands

The Faculty of Science at the University of Basrah organized a symposium entitled "Plant Treatments for Industrial Wastewater using Constructed Wetlands".

The researcher, Safa Taha Yassin, explained that the use of constructed wetlands in the treatment of industrial wastewater throwaway can be done by the Power Stations through using two types of systems with different types of aquatic plants such as emerged and floating types, as well as, evaluating the efficiency of these systems in the treatment of water before being put into the nearby water features and converted it from pollutant water into clean water that have a good quality, suitable for industrial and agricultural use.
