Lecturers and Working Staff at University of Basrah Participate in Monitoring & Verification Media Content Course

The Lecturers and working staff from the Faculty of Education for Girls at the University of Basrah participated in the course of monitoring and verifying media content which was sponsored by the German Media Academy.

The lecturer Hussain Abdul-Kareem mentioned that course discussed the principles and rules of monitoring and its importance, and methods of verification images, videos and digital contents that are published in social media sites using special applications and programs.

He added that the brilliant journalist should distinguish the news, pictures, and genuine from fabricated videos through the investigation of the information before publishing it.
