College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences

   College of Physical Education and Sports Science:

  This college was established in 1983 in Basrah University to be the core, scientific edifice, and the educational flame, Also, it’s the third college in Iraq after both of Baghdad and Mosul universities which are specialized in different Physical Education Sciences and Sports Sciences. They were engaged with the different instructions and Iraqi ministries (Pedagogical, Educational, Social, Healthy, Physical, and Sports Sciences). In addition to that, the establishments of other colleges of Physical Education and Sports Science for the different states was depended on the scientific staff of Basrah University.

1. Pure Sciences Dep.
2. Applied Sciences Dep.

 The college awards the following certificates: Bachelor Degree certificate for the duration of four studying years, Master Degree certificate, and Doctoral Degree certificate.
