College of Fine Arts

  College of Fine Arts was established in Basrah city in 1992-1993 and it contains the following Departments:

1. Performing Arts 1992-1993
2. Plastic Arts 1992-1993
3. Musical Arts 2002-2003
4. Audiovisual Arts 2012-2013
5. Artistic Education 2013-2014

 It was established with different periods and Specializations within each department. Higher Education was founded recently in the college, where there was an opening of Master and Doctoral studying at Performing Arts Dep. and Master Studies within Plastic Arts Dep.

The college awards the following certificates: Bachelor Degree certificate for the duration of four studying years, Master Degree certificate, and Doctoral Degree certificate.
