University of Basrah organizes symposium in American Policy Changes

Basrah and Arabic Gulf Studies Center at the University of Basrah organized a scientific symposium on the transformation of American policy and its effect on Iraq and the region.

The symposium included a lecture presented by Dr. Jawad Hattab, during which he discussed the effect of the American withdrawal from Syria and the intensification of the armed propagation in Iraq and beyond the strategic tactic in explicit signals to shift the priorities of American foreign policy that aimed at protecting its interests in the regional area and guarantee the security of Israel.

The symposium pointed out that the Iraqi political leaders needs to take care of the current developments, prepare to face the challenges and preserve the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iraq.
