University of Basrah Organizes Seminar on Radial Basis Function Use RBF

The Faculty of Arts at the University of Basrah organized a panel discussion on the use of RBF model for spatial interpolation - simulating air pressure in Iran as a model with the participation of researchers and specialists from Geography Department.

The seminar aims at presenting the concept of applying the RBF model to spatial interpolation and applying it to the atmospheric pressure data in Iran.

The researchers emphasize the importance of applying this model in the production of climate maps of scientific and psychological significance, in addition, they urged researchers and students to adopt this model in their future research.
