University of Basrah signs Scientific cooperation agreement with Tehran University of Medical Sciences

Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, President of Basrah University, signed a Scientific cooperation agreement with the President of Tehran University for Medical Sciences, Dr. Abbas Ali Karimy in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The agreement discussed several topics, including the establishment of a center for stem cells and bone transplantation and tumors at Basrah University, encourage and exchange visits between scientific faculty within the two universities, exchange scientific research and applied experiences, and work on to establish a center for endocrine glands at Basrah University.

During the visit, several important research centers were reviewed, including stem cell center, bone marrow transplantation and oncology, endocrinology institute, metabolic research center, pediatric cardiac oncology center, Tehran cardiac center, cellular therapy center, and regenerative medicine research.
