University of Basrah obtains the first position for patents and intellectual property on the Iraqi Science Day

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research honored Dr. Hind Mahdi Jarallah, a researcher at  Marina Science Center at Basrah University, with the Iraqi Scientific Excellence Award for obtaining the first position between Iraqi universities in the field of patents and intellectual property award for medical and health sciences, which included a production of a vaccine for visceral leishmaniasis
