Basrah University organizes a scientific seminar on the amendments of the pension law

Continuing Educational Center at Basrah University organized a scientific symposium on the effects of the recent amendments to the unified pension law with the participation of researchers and specialists.
The symposium shedding light on the amendment of the legal age of retirement until (60) years and the optional retirement for ages of (45) with job service (15) years and the impact of the amendments on the performance of institutions and departments.
The symposium had made recommendations, including reviewing amendments and probably canceling them to ensure keeping the experienced employees and providing new job opportunities for young people commensurate with their qualifications and experience based on the provisions of the Iraqi constitution in force, which provides for the equality between citizens with rights and duties.
