Basrah University prepares to equip Basrah Health Department with mechanical ventilator

As a response to Basrah Health Department which addressed the university to supply them with mechanical ventilator, the University prepares to equip them with their needs, which was made by experts from Engineering College in the University as a contribution in facing Corona epidemic.
It is worth noting that, mechanical ventilator has undergone to examination by specialized committee from Basrah Health Department, which confirmed device conformity for the required specifications with a high technical level that secures successful use according to approved technical indicators.
In the same field, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and all Iraqi universities played an effective role in facing Corona epidemic by supporting national health institutions with important logistical materials such as masks, sterilizers, sterilization gates, oxygen devices and artificial respiration, as well as research and medical support teams from medical, health and technical colleges.
